Welcome to The HopeLine

Helping You Navigate Substance Use Disorder

If you or a loved one is struggling with substance use disorder, please reach out to The HopeLine team by calling or texting one of the numbers listed below. We provide services free of charge and can help you navigate the vast network of treatment and recovery options in Southwest Ohio.

About The HopeLine

Compassionate Support for Recovery

At the HopeLine, we walk alongside individuals and families facing the challenges of substance use disorder, offering hope, compassion, and practical support every step of the way. Our team meets individuals where they are—on the streets, at their homes, in shelters, or from incarceration—to help them take the first step toward recovery.

We work in five counties across Southwest Ohio (Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clinton, and Montgomery) to bridge gaps between crisis and care, guiding clients into treatment and staying connected as they build new lives in recovery.

Recovery isn’t a straight path, and no one should have to walk it alone. Our services are free, ongoing, and grounded in relationships that build trust and offer real support.

Care Navigation: Your First Step Toward Recovery

When you call the HopeLine, you’ll be connected to a Care Coordinator ready to listen without judgment. You don’t need the right words—just a willingness to talk. Your conversation can remain anonymous, and we don’t report to outside agencies.

Our Care Coordinators are here to answer the hard questions you may be afraid to ask, and to walk with you as you take the first steps toward recovery. We’ll listen, offer honest guidance, and connect you to the support you need to break the cycle of substance use disorder.

We can help you understand:

  • How to confront yourself or a loved one you believe is addicted to heroin or other substances.

  • How to detox and where to receive medical care during a detox.

  • What treatment programs are available and how to access them.

  • How to stay clean after treatment.

You're not alone. Let's take the first step together.

Continuing Care: Support That Stays With You

Recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. That’s why we stay connected. Our Continuing Care Coordinators walk with clients for up to a year after treatment, offering consistent, compassionate support during one of the most vulnerable times in the recovery journey.

We help you:

  • Stay accountable and motivated in your recovery.

  • Navigate relapse risks and adjust your care plan if needed.

  • Reconnect with your support network and recovery community.

  • Access housing, transportation, employment, and other services to ensure long-term recovery.

Regular check-ins, encouragement, and problem-solving remind you that your story isn’t over, and you don’t have to go at it alone. Whether it takes one conversation or many, we’ll be here to walk with you—every step, every setback, every success.
